Ultra High X Performance

The ARTA UHXP antennas are designed for use in SDH radio relay systems
where there are very high demands for XPD, sidelobe suppression and front-to-back ratio.

The high cross polarisation discrimination allows that all of the possible RF channels may be utilised for both polarisations.


Great care has been taken in design to achieve optimal electrical and mechanical performance.


The increased antenna gain may improve system margins or reduce the need for larger antennas.


The antenna are dual polarised and comply with ETS 300 833 Class 3.

·         A parabolic aluminium reflector with a shield for sidelobe suppression. The outer surface is spray painted. Standard colour is RAL7038.

·         A hot dip galvanised steel antenna mount.

·         A buttonhook type high XPD, low VSWR antenna feed. The feed horn is sealed for pressurisation. A smooth continuous polarisation adjustment may be performed.

·         A flexible radome for environmental protection


The electrical specifications are given in the Radiation Pattern Envelope for each type of antenna. This specification is a maximum curve, which are derived from actual measurements. The RPE is available in PDF format for each antennas


A three dimensional chart specify the cross-polarisation performance close to the main lobe of the antenna. The off-axis cross-polar sidelobes are given in the individual RPE.


Tabulated values of the main characteristics are given for all frequency bands and diameters.
